One of my true passions is collecting an antique china pattern known as Denmark. It all started when I went in search of a tea set. I wanted a teapot, sugar & creamer and 4 cup and saucer sets. Every set I found I either liked but it was incomplete or it was complete and I didn't like it.... sigh..... But one day I came upon this beautiful blue and white pattern set in Gilroy... and it was complete! So I bought the tea set. Little did I know what I had started. Then I found the bread and butter plates and I began searching for the complete place settings. With the assistance of eBay and a wonderful company called Replacements Ltd. I have accumulated a more than complete set.
This pattern is considered antique because it was first produced in the late 1800's by a company called Furnivals in Staffordshire England. The pattern was sold in the early 1900's to a company called Mason's and then to the famous Franciscan factory. The pattern can span many years so some of my pieces are very old and some are just old. I have included a complete listing of my pieces below.
