I love to do crafts of many kinds. Some of them I have for sale and make to order. A very small business that gives me great satisfaction.

I love to crochet. I take it with me everywhere. Crocheting is soothing, helps me to concentrate and when you are finished, you have a wonderful, warm and personal gift for someone you love. I am a member of a local group who meet twice a month to share patterns, teach new techniques and just talk about yarn... Yes, we're "yarn people"!!

I also make jointed teddy bears. They are great fun to make. I enjoy watching the little fuzzy creatures take form. Each one develops its own personality as it comes together.

These Jointed horses are approximaely 18" tall (give or take an ear) and can be made from a variety of fabrics. Custom orders may specify a color range, whether they are to be patchwork, smooth, velvet or plush (harder to find a color variety in plush tho) and I will take it from there. Of the individuals shown here, only one, Little Pegasus is still available. The others have all gone to good homes. I usually have one or two made up, waiting for new owners, and can make custom orders with about 2 weeks notice.

These "critters" are not intended as children's toys.
I make them as strong as I possibly can but the moving parts are vulnerable to rough handling. There are also a lot of small bits, flowers and bows, that could be a hazard for a young child. They are intended to be decorative and if handled respectfully could be enjoyed by older children. If the pony is intended for a child, please let me know and I will make them a little less fragile. They can also be made without the moving joints which makes them sturdier.

RASTA
Made of Cranberry velvet with curly main and tail.

CADBURY
Made of soft Brown velvet with wool main and tail. Cad is a bit nearsighted and has to wear a pair of pince-nez glasses.

SOPHIA
Made of brown & black tweed with yarn main and tail.

LITTLE PEGASUS
Made of white Brocade with a butterfly pattern. Peg has tiny silver wings (under all that hair), feathers and a yarn mane and tail. Tiny gold butterflies ride his shoulder.

MAUVIN
Made of Mauve velvet with a pink mane and tail that can only be described as a ... well ... difficult hair day.

Prices range from $85 for the plain or velvet fabrics

$125 for patchwork or plush

Special order quotes available. Prices are subject to extensive handwork or more expensive fabrics used.
